Week 5: Mastery

A start to a new week and a new book. This time it is Mastery by George Leonard and this book is about mastering 5 keys and in chapters 1 to 4 George goes on to explain "what is mastery?" and the three types of people who look for other paths when they are not happy with the path they are on. So far, I have loved this book and it is not something I would think would be useful to an entrepreneur, but I am realizing that being an entrepreneur requires so much not only from others but also ourselves. If we don’t know ourselves, what we want, where we want to go, and how hard we are willing to get what we want we will never succeed or just give up when things get hard. What I have learned is that as a society and a country we want instant results and most of time not willing to wait. As we have progressed in technology all we see is instant results and so it becomes something that we feel has to happen all the time no matter what. As I look into my own life I can see that this to be true for me and thankfully my husband has made realize this before I got to read this book.

Entrepreneurial Calling:
1.how to make money
2. being willing to learn
3. find great role models and ask them good questions

To remember:
I have realized that I am the Dabbler and not super bad, but I do realize that there have been times when I start something and then start all over. I have also been able to complete what I have started. My husband definitely agrees that I am a Dabbler.
